A field of nearly 600 runners thunder down Fletcher Street in Kennebunk at the start of Sunday’s Maine Coast Marathon. Derrick Hamel of Newmarket, New Hampshire claimed first place with a time of 2:28:17. The marathon begins at Kennebunk High School and ends at the University of New England.
