Maine Coast Marathon

Boston Police Commissioner William Evans was in the marathon field Sunday. It was his 50th career marathon. Evans, 57, placed 143rd overall and second in his age group with a time of 3:39:28.

Women’s champion Kristen Ramey, of Peterborough, New Hampshire, crosses the finish line at the University of New England. Ramey’s official time was 3:07:38. The top Maine finisher in the women’s race was Debbie Rodrigue, of Lewiston, in 3:21:12. The top local finisher was Randa Capponi of Arundel. Capponi was 266th overall in 3:53:39.
