Award-winning

It’s science news! The National Science Teachers Association and the Children’s Book Council has listed “Birdology” as one of the 2016 Outstanding Science Trade Books for Students K-12. Author Monica Russo and photographer Kevin Byron collaborated on the book, which provides 30 activities and observations for teachers and students to discover and explore the world of birds. In addition to the NSTA listing, the book is also a finalist for an award from the American Association for the Advancement of Science/Subaru Science Book and Film Prize. “Birdology” is published by Chicago Review Press, as part of their Young Naturalists educational book Series.
