Math champs

On Tuesday, May 5, the elementary school students in RSU21 attended the Southern Maine Math League competition held at the Expo in Portland. About 30 schools, grades five to eight attended and competed in an arithmetic round, geometry round and a team round. RSU 21 fifth-grade teams all placed, with Sea Road School coming in first place for team and Mildred L. Day and Kennebunkport Consolidated tying for third place for team. Sea Road School also had Sofie Dumas place second in the individual round. Congratulations to our incredible students and to the RSU for this accomplishment.
