Some of 50 employees from Liberty Mutual Insurance who volunteered for spring cleanup duty at the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust Friday, May 8, as part of the company’s annual “Serve with Liberty” event, help to prepare The Seeker for the season. The boat, donated by Tony and Judy King, is used to transport KCT guests to Goat Island Lighthouse. According to Russ Grady, director of strategic practices and partnerships for the insurance company, some Liberty volunteers who helped out at KCT came from the firm’s local sales offices in Kennebunk and South Portland, while others came from locations in Dover, Portsmouth and Exeter, N.H. This was the fourth year in a row Liberty workers have aided the trust.
