Presidential hopeful visits Maine

Bob Ehrlich, right, the former governor of Maryland and four-term U.S. Congressman, poses with Bob Ferns of Wells during a speech Saturday before the York County Republican Committee. Ehrlich, a presidential hopeful, made the trip to Maine in conjunction with the GOP’s First in the Nation event that day in Nashua, N.H. According to York County GOP Vice-Chairman Edward Karytko, Ehrlich is probably not the last presidential candidate his group will host leading up to the 2016 election. “We are trying to encourage more presidential candidates to ‘cross the river’ and speak to the voters of Maine,” he said.
