Old and New Silent Auction, Dutch Elm Golf Course, Arundel. Proceeds benefit Arundel Historical Society North Chapel Common Project. Refreshments and cash bar will be available. Auction items will include quilts, Kindle, lobsters, antiques, themed baskets, photos, prints, paintings, one week stay at midcoast cottage, gift certificates from local businesses and restaurants, cord of wood, wine and secretary services. Turkey dinner, 4:30 to 6 p.m., Shapleigh Corner Baptist Church. Hosted by Acton Shapleigh Lions Club. Menu includes stuffing, cranberry sauce, peas, squash, rolls, dessert and beverages. All proceeds benefit local assistance programs.
