Up on the roof

Kennebunk High School students Austin Cole, left, and Harry Faye work on the roof of a shed earlier this fall. The boys’ alternative education program recently completed the wooden shed for the Kennebunk Fish and Game Club. Deering Lumber supplied the materials and expenses were paid by the Fish and Game Club. “The boys learned basic framing, roofing, trim and siding skills along with door and window installation,” said Ed Sharood, the alternative education teacher.
