River Tree Arts plans fall fundraiser

River Tree Arts will host its first Artists’ Studio Tour fall fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20.

River Tree Arts’ mission is to bring the joy and benefits of the arts in all its forms to everyone in the community, regardless of age, income, or prior experience. To help support the arts for all commitment, 16 artists will open their private studios for one day. All tickets include a map and detailed information about each artist, their medium and location.

This day will be filled with art and artists of all styles and backgrounds. The tour will include potters, jewelry designers, painters, pastel artists, kaleidoscope artists and more.

Artwork will be available for purchase at each studio. Featured studio artists include Nancy Bariluk-Smith, Mimi Gregoire Carpenter, Heather Dutton, Julia Einstein, Nancy Cooper Funk, Cathryn Hammond, Ronald Kullaway, Janet Ledoux, Ann Legg, Sue Rioux, Laura Savard, Kelly Jo Shows, William Smith, Pamela Tachibana, Wendy Twitchell and Wade Zahares.

When finished with the self-guided tour, participants are invited to a cocktail party from 4 to 6 p.m. at River Tree Arts. The event will feature live music, food and drinks provided by the Kennebunkport Resort Collection.
