Hosted by Acton Shapleigh Lions Club. Menu includes plain and blueberry pancakes, sausage, eggs, beans beverages and more. Nominal donation. ll proceeds benefit local residents in need.

Cove walk, 10 a.m. to noon, Kennebunk Beach. Explore the Cove and Strawberry Island with a nature guide and learn all that lives and grows at low tide. FMI or to register, visit www.kbia.net.

Book sale, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Graves Library, 18 Maine St., Kennebunkport. Rain date, Saturday, Aug. 9. Featured genres will be cookbooks, travel, history, gardening, hobby, craft, howto, children’s, sports, art, movies and more. Food and farmers market vendors. Shop and stay for lunch.
