Mustang Rescue to host Help a Horse

Ever After Mustang Rescue in Biddeford, in conjunction with the ASPCA’s National Help a Horse Day on Saturday, April 26, will hold an open house from noon to 4 p.m.

The organization will offer information on wild horses in America, the need and work of the rescue, an introduction to a wild horse, training clinics, grooming clinics, games for young people, tours of the facility and light refreshments.

The focus will be on Cheyenne, who was 2 years old when she was captured on Sept. 19, 2000, in the Delmar Mountains of Nevada.

She arrived distrusting and fearful, but is currently in a structured training program. Come meet Cheyenne and find out how to help her.

There is no admission fee, but donations are welcome.
